Llorens Stained Glass Studio
& Hardeman Fine Art Glass
Joseph Victor Llorens Sr. who served his apprenticeship for the Empire Glass Company in 1906 founded Llorens Stained Glass in 1920. His famous work can now found throughout America and in five foreign countries.
Mr. Llorens’ efforts help bring the traveling cyclorama painting to its permanent home in Atlanta at Grant Park and he also gave advice for the tree set design on the famous Gone With The Wind movie.His son, Joseph Victor Llorens Jr., after serving in World War II, came home and started working with his father. He then became president of Llorens Stained Glass Studio for 35 years.
In 2005, Llorens Stained Glass Studio was purchased from Joseph Victor Llorens Jr. by his grandson Ken Hardeman of Hardeman Fine Art Glass and then became Llorens Stained Glass Studio/Hardeman Fine Art Glass.
The Llorens Tradition is displayed throughout our museum showroom and studio.
Charles Kenneth Hardeman designs, sells, and performs a lot of the hand painted artwork for the company. Schooling includes:
- Art Institute of Atlanta 1977-1979
- Atlanta College of Art 1979-1982
- Five years of painting experience and instruction with Joseph Victor Llorens
- 20 years manager and apprenticeship at Llorens Stained Glass Studio/Hardeman Fine Art Glass
